L.I.T. News - "School Break and Summer Start" - Issue 77

Reader,

Welcome to this month's issue of the LIT News newsletter. I'm so happy you're here! You're going to find some content that will make you think about getting some goals in the works, doing a little writing therapy, encouraging young readers to read over the summer, and looking into some suggestions for a staycation.

Interesting stuff, indeed!

So, you'll want to check out issue 77 of the newsletter directly below (for all of the details):

And, the virtual doors to the Degrees of Maternity Summer Reading Program will be opening the week of June 15th. Whoo! Hoo! I would love to have a few more children participate in all the reading learning and fun I have in store for them. If you would be so kind, I would appreciate you spreading the word about the program if you know of families who could use reading enrichment for their child(ren).

I just so happen to have a little flyer that you can pass along. It provides a video link with the program details. See the flyer directly below:

Well, I'm excited to get this summer reading program off to a successful start. And, I also look forward to getting back to our intentional goaling and communication discussions. So much to look forward to!

Lastly, remember to take time to slow things down and enjoy these weeks to come. Time is one of those things that you can't get back once you spend it.

Until we meet again . . .

Degrees of Maternity

Hi there! I'm Jana (Yahna) Williams.

Welcome to a cozy place to hang out, where life education never ceases. Every 4th Sunday of the month, we’ll explore the areas of personal and professional development with an underlying theme of reading and writing for growth and healing. (I'm a HUGE literacy advocate! And, literacy is intertwined in just about everything I do here online. Take, for instance, the L.I.T. News Newsletter that I hope you'll choose to peruse. The "L.I.T" in the newsletter name is representative of Life-Improvement Training -- which we do a lot of around these parts -- as well as my love of all things literacy.) Just know that, as a content creator, I have a passion for educating others through positive, encouraging, and life-impacting content. Words are powerful once delivered. So, let’s enjoy their empowerment for the good, as we travel this life-improvement journey together.

Hi there Reader, Welcome! Welcome . . . to those of you returning as well as to those of you who are new to the L.I.T. News Family. I'm so happy that you found yourself here at today's email. To do a little something different than I normally do, I decided to forgo the brand-new (hot-off-the-press) monthly newsletter attachment and provide you with a video and a form attachment instead. But, wait a minute! I DO have an oldie (but goodie) newsletter for you in case you haven't had a chance to...

Reader, The L.I.T. News newsletter is growing in family support, and I'm so incredibly thankful that you are here. I love creating content, especially content that I know can be a blessing to others if they will read and apply it (as needed) to their daily lives. So, I pray that there is something within the pages of today's issue of the L.I.T. (Life-Improvement Training) News newsletter that speaks to you and gives you that subtle nudge to get going on those life goals waiting to come into...

Reader, Welcome to another issue of L.I.T. News. I'm excited to continue the topic of communication, specifically emphasizing the importance of how we communicate with ourselves. YOU are important, and it's necessary to check in with yourself regularly. Personally, I've found writing to be a therapeutic way to do so. And since sharing is caring, I've taken the liberty to share a little of what I've found to be true about writing therapy. So, please check out issue 75 of the newsletter -- hot...
