Reader, Welcome to this month's issue of the LIT News newsletter. I'm so happy you're here! You're going to find some content that will make you think about getting some goals in the works, doing a little writing therapy, encouraging young readers to read over the summer, and looking into some suggestions for a staycation. Interesting stuff, indeed! So, you'll want to check out issue 77 of the newsletter directly below (for all of the details): LIT News - May 2026 Issue 77.pdf And, the virtual doors to the Degrees of Maternity Summer Reading Program will be opening the week of June 15th. Whoo! Hoo! I would love to have a few more children participate in all the reading learning and fun I have in store for them. If you would be so kind, I would appreciate you spreading the word about the program if you know of families who could use reading enrichment for their child(ren). I just so happen to have a little flyer that you can pass along. It provides a video link with the program details. See the flyer directly below: 2026 Summer Reading Program Flyer.pdf Well, I'm excited to get this summer reading program off to a successful start. And, I also look forward to getting back to our intentional goaling and communication discussions. So much to look forward to! Lastly, remember to take time to slow things down and enjoy these weeks to come. Time is one of those things that you can't get back once you spend it. Until we meet again . . . Welcome to a cozy place to hang out, where life education never ceases. Every 4th Sunday of the month, we’ll explore the areas of personal and professional development with an underlying theme of reading and writing for growth and healing. (I'm a HUGE literacy advocate! And, literacy is intertwined in just about everything I do here online. Take, for instance, the L.I.T. News Newsletter that I hope you'll choose to peruse. The "L.I.T" in the newsletter name is representative of Life-Improvement Training -- which we do a lot of around these parts -- as well as my love of all things literacy.) Just know that, as a content creator, I have a passion for educating others through positive, encouraging, and life-impacting content. Words are powerful once delivered. So, let’s enjoy their empowerment for the good, as we travel this life-improvement journey together.
Reader, It's back-to-school time in the U.S., and I'm ramping up for a new school year of reading instruction for the children I'll have the privilege of tutoring. Exciting stuff, indeed! I'm expecting to see some returning students and to meet a whole new crew, as well. And with all the newness a fresh school year brings, I have my work cut out for me in getting myself situated for some new goal setting, prepping the goal mindset, and actively working toward carrying out my goal plan(s). So,...
Reader, Today's issue of the L.I.T. News newsletter is all about -- not giving up, even if that means you have to take a break here and there to refuel and replenish yourself before moving on with the goal worth getting. I know you have things to do, places to go, and people to see. So, I intend to get right to the "content" matter. Check out the newest issue, issue 79 of the newsletter, (directly) below: LIT News - Jul 2026 Issue 79.pdf You can find the following in today's newsletter:...
Reader, Let me just start by saying, "Thank YOU" for being here. I'm absolutely thrilled to be sharing this month's L.I.T. News Newsletter with you. We're finally getting back into our goal-setting/achievement and communication discussions. And, I'm so incredibly happy about that. I need to keep myself accountable for GETTING THINGS DONE! So, reminders about getting and staying on track when it comes to desired outcomes, are always welcome. I've actually been pretty aggressive with the...
