L.I.T. News - Goal-Setting and Perseverance (cont.) - Issue 80

Reader,

It's back-to-school time in the U.S., and I'm ramping up for a new school year of reading instruction for the children I'll have the privilege of tutoring. Exciting stuff, indeed! I'm expecting to see some returning students and to meet a whole new crew, as well. And with all the newness a fresh school year brings, I have my work cut out for me in getting myself situated for some new goal setting, prepping the goal mindset, and actively working toward carrying out my goal plan(s).

So, we'll be continuing on this trek of moving toward the things we want to accomplish personally and professionally. Today's newsletter continues our discussion of a strategy to use in helping us to reach that goal post that may seem very far, far away. But don't give up, keep moving forward (even if you're just inching along). Those inches eventually add up to feet, and feet to yards, and yards to meters, and meters to miles.

I hope you're not getting tired of me and my goal-seeking ways. I just know how important it is to come up with a plan for how you want to GET THINGS DONE! It helps to have strategies in place; but even more importantly, it helps to have a mindset that's all in it to win it and actions that follow the mindset. So, let's make some goal moves now and going forward.

Let's keep the goaling going, or let's get the goaling started!

Hi there! I'm Jana (Yahna) Williams.

Welcome to a cozy place to hang out, where life education never ceases. Every 4th Sunday of the month, we’ll explore the areas of personal and professional development with an underlying theme of reading and writing for growth and healing. (I'm a HUGE literacy advocate! And, literacy is intertwined in just about everything I do here online. Take, for instance, the L.I.T. News Newsletter that I hope you'll choose to peruse. The "L.I.T" in the newsletter name is representative of Life-Improvement Training -- which we do a lot of around these parts -- as well as my love of all things literacy.) Just know that, as a content creator, I have a passion for educating others through positive, encouraging, and life-impacting content. Words are powerful once delivered. So, let’s enjoy their empowerment for the good, as we travel this life-improvement journey together.
