Reader, I apologize for this issue coming out a little later than usual. I'm playing catch-up after enjoying some vacation time with the family. It was truly a wonderful time! But, I'm back in working action now and looking forward to getting this issue of the newsletter out to you. Pronto! I'm REALLY, REALLY excited, because I have some new tutoring services information to give to you. Page 2 of the newsletter goes into the exciting details. But here's the gist of it . . . I'M OPENING UP 12-WEEK TUTORING SESSIONS FOR ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL READERS! WHOO! HOO! The second week of August is when the 12-week sessions begin, because the summer sessions with several of my students will be ending between this week and the next two. I'm sorry to see the summer reading program end, but I'm looking forward to the new reading adventures that the academic year will bring. So, if you don't have time to read all of the newsletter, I would suggest honing in on page 2. And, feel free to pass the message that Degrees of Maternity is here to serve and help position the young reader for reading success. You can check out issue 68 below: LIT News - Jul 2025 Issue 68.pdf And here's last month's newsletter (in case you missed it): LIT News - Jun 2025 Issue 67.pdf Okay, okay . . . so, I have to get back on track with the goal-setting content. And, I promised that I would get into it this newsletter, but the tutoring announcement took over. Here's the deal. So I can keep my word somewhat, I'd like to give you a bit of a goal-getting assignment between now and the next newsletter. I would like you to read page 4 of the newsletter. Yes, page 4 as well as page 2. Hey, you might as well read all of it. Hee. Hee. Click on the links to the blog posts and read them in their entirety. I promise that what you read will have everything to do with helping you achieve your goals. Happy reading and have a blessed week to come, Jana/Yahna Degrees of Maternity |
Welcome to a cozy place to hang out, where life education never ceases. Every 4th Sunday of the month, we’ll explore the areas of personal and professional development with an underlying theme of reading and writing for growth and healing. (I'm a HUGE literacy advocate! And, literacy is intertwined in just about everything I do here online. Take, for instance, the L.I.T. News Newsletter that I hope you'll choose to peruse. The "L.I.T" in the newsletter name is representative of Life-Improvement Training -- which we do a lot of around these parts -- as well as my love of all things literacy.) Just know that, as a content creator, I have a passion for educating others through positive, encouraging, and life-impacting content. Words are powerful once delivered. So, let’s enjoy their empowerment for the good, as we travel this life-improvement journey together.

Reader, Welcome to another issue of L.I.T. News. I'm excited to continue the topic of communication, specifically emphasizing the importance of how we communicate with ourselves. YOU are important, and it's necessary to check in with yourself regularly. Personally, I've found writing to be a therapeutic way to do so. And since sharing is caring, I've taken the liberty to share a little of what I've found to be true about writing therapy. So, please check out issue 75 of the newsletter -- hot...
